MIA

Yep, I've been MIA from my blog for quite sometime. My family has moved out of our home into a small rentalf for the time being while we deciede if we are to build a new home or find an existing one. What happened to our other home? We turned it into another group home. This one is four young ladies & it has been quite the different experience for sure. These young ladies are definetly different than our guy homes, but it is going to be a fantastic experience.



Well back to scrappy things................I finally got to scrap this past weekend. I went to a retreat with my friends Alison, Cheri, & Cheri's daughter Britt. I completed 20 pages!!!!! & had loads of fun. Start watching for me to post some fun pages soon. I was even able to get most of October & November's sketches for Let's Scrap done as well.



Speaking of Let's Scrap, today is Wednesday, & you know what that means? That's right........a new sketch was revealed!

I just love to sew on my pages. One of those just can't do a page without it kind of things. Here's a page I did with a kit put together by my sweet scrappy friend kimmyj.

Been busy these past couple days, but I wanted to make sure I shared with you the new sketch challange over at Let's Scrap. It's a fun double pager. Make sure you check out all the inspiring expamples our DT created with this sketch.

Will we ever have summer?

Well the weekend is here & the weather is not any better than the rest of the week. Wondering if we will have any summer at all here in Minnesota???????? It's felt like October all week! Well to warm up my weekend I thought I would share a page I created with one of my favorite October Afternoon lines. This beautiful little lady is my daughter Nichole almost 5 years agao. It's one of my favorite pictures of her. Shortly after this picture was taken she chopped off her hair!

Here's a fun page I created with the Summer Stack from DCWV. I just love this stack, especially since it is double sided & all glittery! Been stalking the stores to see what they will come up with for their Fall stack.

Not much scrapping time lately!

Not much scrappy time for me lately. So I thought I would share a couple of my favorite pages from sketches at Let's Scrap.

This page is my sweet little Olivia when she was just learning to roll over. I just can't believe that was over 3 years ago! Boys does time fly.

I just loved this sketch & knew right away that I wanted to use these pictures of Alyssa that she took fooling around with her camera. It just shows what a fun girl she is!
